“Grain. Initial nosing is confronted with distinctive and delightful salted pretzel and wheat smells that are yeasty/doughy, saline, and clean; black pepper is features prominently after further aeration time and I like that timely touch of spiciness. Entry is elegant on the tongue, silky, nearly flat-out creamy, and just slightly sweet; midpalate is deliciously balanced, grainy, caney/grassy, and all the way through now is that black pepper aspect, which works big-time for me. Finishes gracefully, satiny to the feel, salty, and luscious.”
